Strongly recommend for a trip
Cozy room, lovely garden, with a spacious area for breakfast where you can enjoy a variety of Greek dishes while soaking in the no noise around, combined with a location just a short walk from the harbor making it easy to explore the area at leisure.

Hydra is fantastic and the Hydroussa is the epitome of old world charm. Large rooms with large surrounding courtyard close to the dock. Our room had a lovely partial ocean view.
A large loud crowd of young students partying through the night. But what do you do? Just bad timing.

I stayed at Hydroussa Hotel mid June, and although the island was very crowded at that time, i found the hotel a terrific choice. The location was excellent. It wasn't very far from the center of the island. the hotel staff was very kind and helpful, they even provide us with an island guide! I strongly recommend it!

The Hydroussa Hotel had a lovely character, with a beautiful garden and a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were warm and cute, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Breakfast on the terrace offered a good variety of Greek specialties, especially the fresh local yogurt.
No negatives to share.

Very good value for money. Easy to find and close to the port.(within a few minutes walk) Friendly, easy going concierge who allowed us to remain in our room past the check out time while we waited for our boat (not sure if this would be possible at the height of the season). Nice buffet breakfast included, overall a very good experience.

The leisurely breakfast in the charming courtyard, accompanied by a friendly singing waitress, made every morning good. The close proximity to the harbor allowed easy access while maintaining a peaceful atmosphere.

Staff friendly and very helpful. We did not have to leave our room at required time as our ferry time was 16.00 and were offered use of room until that time . Very convenient for us as we could have a swim and shower and eat before vacating the room.
Only issue would be shower. Shower curtain did not fit into the base of shower so had to mop up water all the time. Also hand held shower only.

Nice location in the morning watching the mule trains delivering goods, minutes from Hydra Port. And close enough to Drousos Palia Elia restaurant, and a pretty square filled with the scent of orange blossom.

Helpful member of staff who spoke English well - we arrived early, and he let us have the room straight away. Lovely courtyard for breakfast. Views of donkeys going up and down the street - no cars or motorbikes on the island. Distant view of sea (from Room 601), and only 5 minutes leisurely walk to and from the ferries. Free Internet access, albeit quite a slow connection.
Air conditioning unit of building opposite hotel. They have put it in the roof, and have removed bricks and part of the wall - so open to the fresh air. It was going all day and all night!

The location was super convenient. The courtyard was perfect for breakfast, and all the staff were friendly. Couldn't ask for more after long days out enjoying the sights.
One night was a bit noisy with other guests talking in their rooms, hard to sleep.

Nice old building with character. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean (quite big as well, nice tall ceilings). It has been recently decorated. The view was beautiful. It's close to the port but in hydra everything is. Very pleasant memories altogether.

The comfort, the beautiful rooms, the excellent customer service. We stayed in quite some hotels over the years and never had such graceful and polite customer service. We checked out at 12 and were allowed to keep our baggage and use the room until our boat left at 6. That is but an example of many things that impressed us about the customized service of this hotel staff. The room is anything but standard. We thought the decor and interior very beautiful and perfect for the mansion theme of the hotel. I feel this should be at least a four star hotel, if not five as it exceeded expectations above the five star hotels we know. The views from our room were superb. And this is super quiet so excellent for families or honeymooners. Also the location is perfect, and as described on the website. Just make sure to google instructions to walk to it as it is not on the beach side. Thanks for all
